- Tim Thou, the Troupe's founder and program director, received the Massachusetts
Cultural Council's Commonwealth Award for individual achievement in 2005.

- Duey Kol, the Troupe's former manager, and Peter Veth, former student
and now assistant artistic director, were featured on the "Commonwealth
Journal" program of WUMB, 91.9 FM. They discussed preserving Cambodian
culture, and you can order a CD or audio tape here (program number 2006-03).
- Mr. Vyrik Eng, at one time the Associate Program Director of the Angkor
Dance Troupe, was featured on the "Morning Stories" program
of WGBH, 89.7 FM. He discussed how he discovered ways of dealing with
his father's absence, his mother's pain and the family's Cambodian past.
