


Cherry Lim
Board Director

Cherry Lim is the inaugural Program Director of the Asian American Center for Excellence & Engagement (AACEE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she leads efforts to support and empower Asian American students through education, community-building, and advocacy. A proud first-generation Cambodian Chinese American college graduate, Cherry is deeply committed to advancing equity and representation in higher education.
Before joining UMass Lowell, Cherry worked on the AANAPISI (Asian American Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions) grants at both Bunker Hill and Middlesex Community Colleges, focusing on student success initiatives for underserved communities. Her extensive volunteer work includes service with the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, the American College Personnel Association, and the Asian American Mental Health Forum.
Cherry holds an MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and a BA in American Studies from Tufts University. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Angkor Dance Troupe and is passionate about supporting its mission to preserve and promote Cambodian arts and culture.
