Vichtcha (Vee) Kong

Vichtcha (Vee) Kong is currently serving as Assistant Vice President, Banking

Relationship Manager for Eastern Bank’s Equity Alliance for Business (EAB) Team.

Born in a refugee camp in Thailand and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, Vee’s journey

has shaped her deep commitment to supporting the underserved and often forgotten,

especially women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ community.

Vee has 2 decades of experience in business development, community relations, non-

profit leadership, and team building. Known for her strong interpersonal and analytical

skills, and a proactive approach to leadership and community engagement.

Vee began her banking career as a college freshman and steadily rose through the

ranks at Washington Savings Bank, where she spent almost 20 years serving small

businesses and nonprofits. Outside of work, Vee volunteers her time and sits on several

boards for organizations such as the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, The Wish Project,

The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce, and has served as the Interim Executive

Director of the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association.
