Neakru Stephanie Seng

Sr. Instructor & Principal Dancer

Neakru Stephanie Seng

Neakru Stephanie Seng carries forward a proud family legacy in Cambodian performing arts, with roots tracing back to her grandparents - masters of Lakorn - and parents who were traditional musicians. She began dancing at the age of four in San Jose, California, and joined Angkor Dance Troupe in 1997, where she found a lifelong home dedicated to preserving and sharing Khmer classical and folk dance.

A passionate artist and mentor, Neak Kru Stephanie brings deep cultural knowledge and lived experience to her teaching. Her guidance nurtures the next generation of dancers, instilling not only artistic excellence but also discipline, resilience, and pride in their Cambodian heritage.

Her commitment to the arts is also a family tradition. Her three children - Madison, Cecilia, and Chase - are now students and performers at ADT, proudly continuing the lineage. Together, they embody a living legacy of Khmer culture and storytelling through dance.
