After the Harvest season (December-February) throughout Cambodia, it is a time to celebrate their bounty of food with song and dance. In this scene of the Good Crops Dance, the dancers portray farmers that are choosing which field to use and will pray for a successful rice harvest together.

Our annual music recital took place at the Angkor Dance Troupe studio and had a great turn out for a very snowy morning! On behalf of Master Teacher of Music and Folk Dance, Lokru Kimhan Meas, we'd like to thank everyone for supporting our students and the music program. This event was made possible by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Lowell National Historical Park.

ArtsEmerson, Bunker Hill Community College, Boston Asian American Film Festival, and Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association hosted the "Welcome to Boston Cast Party" for the cast and crew of Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia.
The free event was a celebration of Cambodian art and culture with Angkor Dance Troupe performing Boung Soung, Princess Chan reciting poems from her current book The Genocide's Love Baby Learns to Sing, and a performance from Flying Orb Productions.
