Our Dance Program started on Sunday, September 10, 2023 and we were excited to see many familiar faces as well as a few new recruits!
Students will learn traditional Cambodian dance with instruction led by Artistic Director, Master Teacher, Neakru Phousita Huy. Students begin by learning the fundamentals of dance which include the proper stretches, gestures, and mother posture from the Cambodian Royal Ballet. In addition to learning classical and folk dance, students learn the stories of each dance and the history of Cambodian performing arts.
